Output a password protected Excel file

Question

I am trying to output a password protected Excel file in a workflow.  The workflow (attached and below) successfully opens the password protected file and appends a row.  I've also attached the 'R' code in a comment.  I'm not that familiar with 'R' code and I tried to tweak it to use it for output.  Does anyone know how to modify the 'R' code so the save would be successful?
