Output Options to ODBC

Hi Alteryx Community, 

I just want to understand the logic of the output options to ODBC. What is the difference between Delete Data & Append and Overwrite Table (Drop)? 

Also, in the Update:Warn on Failure and Update: Error on Failure, does it output the data based on a primary key just like the Update: Insert if New?

Appreciate shedding some light on this.
