Opening a workflow will test my oracle connections and subsequently lock my account

Hello,
When opening a workflow in designer which has existing connections to oracle db, alteryx checks the connection on the input tools for a successful connection.
My problem is that my oracle account password must be changed on a monthly basis and when the above scenario occurs, alteryx is validating the oracle connections based on the old password and therefore locking the account.
Is there a way to change this in the settings so that Alteryx is not automatically checking connections on opened workflows. (Alteryx gallery will resolve this, but unfortunately this is not an option currently).
Thanks.

Hi @AlteryxForJD this is more of a workaround. However if you have a version of Alteryx that has Data Connection Manager (DCM) you can update your credentials for Oracle when they change every month then proceed to open your workflow with the connection details being up to date.

Thank you for the response Joseph - do you know if using the Data Connection Manager set-up with my credentials, would my colleagues be able to run the same workflows without problems?

On a Alteryx Server yes if you were to share your workflow with your colleagues via Alteryx Designer they would need to setup their own Oracle connection to run it.
