Older version of Alteryx is default instead of newer version?

Every time I open a workflow from File Explorer, the older version of Alteyrx opens. I have the newer version and if I drop a workflow onto it, it works, so I'm curious as to how to make it the default? Thanks!

When you upgrade the old version should uninstall. Did you maybe install one as admin and one as non-admin? That's the only way I could think this would be happening.

As @Luke_C mentioned, you most likely have an admin and non-admin version installed.
