OSM roads not plotting correctly

Hi All,

I've extracted some data from OSM to show traffic speeds of roads but when I use the line spatial object to plot them on the map they end up in the sea. I can see the outline of the UK but they're just way off course. The data is supplied in wgs84 projection which Alteryx reads I just don't know why it isn't plotting it in the right places.

Any ideas? :)

@RonnieC
That is weird.  Have you tried plopping  one of the points  into Google Maps and checking that  it is in the correct place?

I've opened the file in QGIS and it seems to be in the right place. Its no worries if we don't have a solution I think I have someone that can help, I'll update this topic in the future for anyone else that might run into the same problem :)

I would like that.

Good luck!

Hi All,

I've figured out there is sometimes a bug where Alteryx fails to put the projection in the actual projection box. The way to fix is just to manually type it in yourself. In this case I typed in WGS84 manually and now they show up in the correct places :)

Have a good one!
