Not able to run Alteryx flow

I am accessing an Alteryx flow from shared g-drive used by our whole team. I am not able to run the flow and getting below error at the input data. When I try to create a flow on my local system, it runs successfully. I have installed the Snowflake ODBC driver successfully. I am using Alteryx 2024.1

I have attached the screenshot of error. How can I resolve this?

I'm not sure how to advise you on that part (about it not matching) as I'm not privvy to how that exact workflow is referenced in the input tool.

Have you tried contacting anyone else on your team that is able to run that workflow and compare User DSN configurations to see how they match/differ?

This is likely because the Snowflake connection/role that was being used by the workflow in the common place is named differently or is using a role that differs from the access you yourself have.

But I believe this is more to do with the ODBC User DSN name being different than what was originally used by whomever built the workflow. Either make yours match or update the Input Tool connection to match yours.

To check yours User DSN, go to start menu and type "ODBC" and choose the ODBC Data Sources for either 32 or 64 bit depending on your machine. Then you can see the User DSN values.

Thank you for your response. I am trying to match mine as this is a shared flow. But the ODBC Configuration Dialog box is not accepting a long DSN name - Snowflake Connectivity Dev Role (UK). It doesn't accept more than 32 characters. I am on windows.

I am trying to update the Input Tool connection to match mine, but how can I know what is the sql query behind that?

Hello,

I have those details and I filled those. But it throws me this error when I give exact same DSN Name. It is not accepting more than 32 characters. How can I solve this?

Note: I click on Test and the connection is successful. No error in the credentials part.

Is that the same name as the existing source in the workflow? If there's a character limit, it's likely that was the case for whomever created the workflow in the first place. Can you verify with someone on your team that theirs is setup with that same name?

Unfortunately, we're getting beyond the scope of what is Alteryx discussion and i'm not an expert on User DSN's...
