[No Valid Fields] Regex Tool

Hello,

I am trying to attach a very simple input (see below) to the Regex tool.

However, when I run the workflow (see below) and try to select a field to parse in the Regex tool, it ways there are no valid fields available. Does anyone know why this would be? I am new to using Regex and trying to gain an understanding of it.

Hi @wht822 ,

Your column format needs to be text in order to Regex tool works.

A suggestion is to use a select tool before changing the format.
