@Hitesh07 in addition to the many great resources linked by @ChrisTX another great starting point is the "Launch Pad" section of community under the "Learn" drop-down.  There you will find some great starter videos and tutorials to help find your way around both the Community and Alteryx Designer (along with other platforms like Server, Intelligence Suite, etc.).  Happy Solving and welcome to Alteryx!

Starting with Alteryx is exciting! Here are some steps to get you comfortable with the platform and learn best practices:

1. Learn the Basics with Designer Core Training

  • The Alteryx Designer Core Certification is a great first goal. Alteryx provides free online training, including video tutorials and exercises, which cover the basics: data preparation, cleansing, and simple transformations.

2. Explore Interactive Lessons

  • Alteryx offers interactive lessons on their community website, covering topics from beginner to advanced. These are quick, practical, and give immediate feedback on your progress.

3. Hands-On Practice

  • Weekly Challenges on the Alteryx Community forum let you practice different scenarios and solve real-world problems. It’s a great way to improve skills, especially for learning best practices in workflow efficiency.

4. Best Practices to Follow

  • Label Tools: Name your tools to keep workflows readable.
  • Comment: Add comments to sections of the workflow to clarify complex steps.
  • Modular Design: Break workflows into smaller sections or use macros for repetitive tasks.
  • Data Sample: For large datasets, use sample tools during testing to improve performance.

5. Explore the Alteryx Community

  • Engage with Alteryx Community Forums to learn from experienced users, ask questions, and get advice on best practices. It’s a valuable resource where you can share workflows, troubleshoot, and learn about advanced tips.

As you get more comfortable, dive into more complex topics like batch macros or analytical apps! Let me know if you'd like more details on any of these areas.
