I'm quite new to Alteryx and would like to know if someone can help guide me or provide examples to clean this dataset. This data is too hard to me to clean as I'm just a beginner.

I know that I need to combine all of the data from 2014 to 2021 into one. Should I pivot the data and do Vlook up? What should I do? Thank you for your time!

That means you’ve already downloaded the YXDBs. Did you store them in one location or no? 

Did you reference the right location and right file type? 

Are you still looking at .xlsx or .yxdb?

I left the Summarize tool there to show you the Dimensions you have for State, County, etc. The reason for doing so is to explain to you that your level of granularity is limited in some data sets because it is inconsistent throughout the years. 

At the time I did that, you were asking about how to remove null values, which I proposed you shouldn’t because of this. Now, I’m still not sure if those are the nulls you are referring to because you’ve made several posts on the community talking about nulls but not showing exactly which nulls.

Directory doesn’t exist -> Can you post a picture of the configuration of your Directory tool? 

To post a picture, click on SNIP TOOL, then SNIP your image. 

To upload here, click on REPLY, then click on the CAMERA icon, then PASTE the image there to upload, then click UPLOAD. IF nothing is pasted, then go back to your snip tool, and click COPY again. Then, PASTE it like usual.

If the snip tool doesn’t exist or you can’t seem to get it to work, save the snip as an image and upload it as a .png or .jpg.

In addition, I strongly suggest for you to stick to 1 post only. Having several posts asking the same thing expecting different results will not help if what you’re asking for is the same thing and all of us will go in endless circles.
