Need help in building a macro in Alteryx

Hi,

I am trying to create a database of new product launches where i need to time stamp each product basis a certain distribution level (e.g 20%) and post that from that period onwards, I need to paste the dollar sales, velocity and other measures for that product. Once this process is done, it has to be repeated for all the couple thousand product lines. I am fairly new to Alteryx and given this task of building macro. Any help is highly appreciated.

I am attaching 3 files - one has Distribution, other has Dol Sales and the third is a sample format that I want as an output.

Hello there,

Thanks for helping me out.

Distribution in the file is ACV weighted distribution and it means - what is the % distribution of that product across in the particular geography. So, if you see the file All CSD UPCs_ACV only, data from col D onwards is the distribution data. If you see row 9, though the product started distributing when it shows data in cell Q9, however, it crossed 20% mark in cell T9, so that period which is 4 Weeks Ending Apr 23, 2017 will become P1 for that product and what I am looking is to have the data for Distribution, Dollars and other measures to be pasted post that in the sample format I attached.

To your question on velocity, I have not attached that file as yet earlier but attaching it now for your perusal. Let me know if you want further details.

Can you clarify

1. how to define the Distribution Rate? I dont see it in your input data but in your output

2. Where is the data for velocity, is it ACV Weighted Distribution in your input data?
