Need a workflow that writes to Smartsheet

I have a workflow that reads from Smartsheet using the Smartsheet ODBC connection. We read the data, compare some of the values we pull from a different database and then want to write back to smartsheet with the updated data.

 

Does anyone have a workflow that writes to smartsheet? I know you have to use the API, but I'm not sure how to configure it to write. I've seen python code that does this, but I don't know python so that's not an option.
