Migration of Alteryx Designer + Scheduler License from 1 machine to another

Hi there,

I need to migrate my Alteryx Designer+Scheduler license from one machine to another machine.

On my new machine when I am adding these Designer+Scheduler license keys, it is showing me that these licenses are being currently used on another machine, do you want to revoke it?

  1. Does revoking the licenses from old machine and using it on new machine will automatically take up the Alteryx settings for e.g. Macros path added under User settings, Database Connections, IN--DB Connections? I need old settings to be added on my new machine automatically. Is this possible?
  2. Some important schedules are also running on my old machine. Does revoking the license from old machine and using it on new machine will automatically add the schedules in my new machine? If not, Is there any other way to automatically add schedules from old machine to new machine as it will be using the same license?

Please if you can help me on this.

My expectations are:

1) No - your paths have to conform to what is expected by Alteryx. For ODBC connections (In-DB) you need to reinstall your ODBC connections on your new machine. Your license supplies Alteryx with the information needed to confirm that you have purchased Designer. It does not provide a back up your workflows and your connections.
