Metadata description of the input file

I'd like to collet into one file the metadata information of each field contained in the input file, including the number of values contained, the % of completion. 

Is there a way to collect this information?

I did not know these tools! I have put them in my favourite!!

however this is not really what I'd need. 

I'd like a table such as the one produced by the basic tool but with a supplementary column showing the completion rate for this field

any chance? :)

By completion rate, you mean (number of non-nulls/number of records) * 100?
