Hi
I have following data sets, initially we are mapping with session 1 with session columns and session 2 with session again , we unable to get the expected output.
expected output
USER | SESSION | S.NO |
SWATHI | WWW | 1 |
SWATHI | WXY | 1 |
SWATHI | WWW | 1 |
SWETHA | XXX | 2 |
SWETHA | XYZ | 2 |
dataset -1
USER | SESSION |
SWATHI | WWW |
SWATHI | WXY |
SWETHA | XXX |
SWETHA | XYZ |
SWATHI | WWW |
SWAPNA | ZZZ |
SWAPNA | XYZ |

Hi @BRRLL99
What is the logic to get the expected output.
If so and so, give me this result?
Many thanks
Shanker V
One user may have have multiple sessions, based on user name we need to map session with session1 and session 2 and adding S.NO column to Table1
output should be dynamic.
We are trying to map session1 and session2 with session column of table1 for each user
EXPECTED OUTPUT
USER | SESSION | S.NO |
SWATHI | WWW | 1 |
SWATHI | WXY | 1 |
SWATHI | WWW | 1 |
SWETHA | XXX | 2 |
SWETHA | XYZ | 2 |
SWATHI | ABC | 7 |
SWATHI | CBA | 7 |
TABLE 1
USER SESSION
SWATHI | WWW |
SWATHI | WXY |
SWETHA | XXX |
SWETHA | XYZ |
SWATHI | WWW |
SWAPNA | ZZZ |
SWAPNA | XYZ |
SWATHI | ABC |
SWATHI | CBA |
TABLE2
S.NO SESSION1 SESSION2
1 | WWW | WXY |
2 | WWW | WZO |
3 | XXX | XYZ |
4 | ZXO | ZZZ |
7 | ABC | CBA |
@BRRLL99 Any reason why the records for SWAPNA were not included in the output file? Also how SWETHA is mapped to SNO 2 instead of 3?
SWAPNA Not mapping with the any paired sessions of table2,session column of table1 should map with the paired sessions(Session1, Session2) of table2.
Sorry My bad, SWETHA should have S.NO3
expected output
USER | SESSION | S.NO |
SWATHI | WWW | 1 |
SWATHI | WXY | 1 |
SWATHI | WWW | 1 |
SWETHA | XXX | 3 |
SWETHA | XYZ | 3 |
SWATHI | ABC | 7 |
SWATHI | CBA | 7 |
