I'm currently using the Python Tool to write up a script on XGBoost and SHAP analysis (For more background, I raised an idea explaining why here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Desktop-Ideas/Shapley-values-AKA-SHAP-Variable-Imp... - would appreciate some likes and support comments there too!).
A question popped up in my head - I am making this workflow to simplify the lives of people coming into this department so that they do not have to deal with heavy coding requirements. Having Python in Alteryx seems counter intuitive to that thought, but I have no other working option but to use Python to load in XGBoost and SHAP for the use case.
With the context out of the way, my main issue is trying to find some sample use cases from the community that have used the Python tool and had interface tools attached to it. For example, in the analysis, I am hard coding in 5 fields of interest. But I want to make an interface for my user to select the fields of interest to be included in that Python script.
So far, I'm stuck because the interface tools when connected to Python is rather confusing and jumbled up. I'm not even sure where to begin!
I'd like to hear from the community if you've encountered any similar use cases before, any and all advice welcomed!
