Hi! I need some help on a current workflow. I need to add a new column in the workflow to calculate and show Month to Date (MTD) and Year to Date (YTD) actuals. Depending on what period we are in, the MTD actuals should calculate "YTD Current Period" - "YTD Previous Period". If it's P11, it should calculate the data from P11-P10, if it's P12, P12-P11, etc. (see excel attachment).
I have attached a screenshot of our period/month mapping as well, since we start our fiscal year in October.
The reporting period is = DateTimeMonth(DateTimeToday()) and the purpose of the mapping file is to identify the current month and previous month.
Solved: YTD - Calculate YTD Amount based on month name - Alteryx Community I tried to use this YTD calculation and adjust it for my data but since "Name" = YTD + [Period], not a month, I am not sure how this formula would help my case.
Does anyone have a solution or workflow to calculate MTD and YTD for cells depending on the headers name?
