Layout with Email Tool Known Glitch?

Currently, I have an email automation that takes a layout tool as the body of the email. The layout tool takes in a text tool and two images. The format should appear to have the first image as the logo on top, followed by the text, ending with the final image.

The problem I’m having is that when the layout is configured to automatic, the text input takes up the entire margin whereas the logo is in the middle. What I want is the body of the email to align with the margins with the pictures. I’ve played around with the different percentage and manual widths but that leads to a problem where resizing the email changes the format again. I know that I want a fixed width of 4 inches and it looks exactly like what I want in the browse tool but when the email is sent, it switches back to an automatic width of 100%. This is the biggest frustration as even if I find the width in Alteryx, it will negate anything I've set when the email is received. Is this a known bug and not capable with Alteryx or am I missing something?

Is there a way to go about this so that the margins on all 3 inputs are aligned in the email itself?

Hi NikyN,

I'm still having the same problem. It's not the format in Alteryx that I'm having trouble with. It's when the email tool is applied and sent out that the entire format created is negated. Attached is an image of what the output of your workflow creates when attaching the email tool at the end. I believe this may be a glitch with the email tool that negates all formatting applied in the layout tool.

Hello @hlee03,

Apologize -- you totally right!

In this case, you need to initially decide what will be width of the table/layout should be. Base on that you need to configure the image tool (e.g. 15 cm is 577 px), and also in the reporting tool to enter this width to ensure that all elements will be the same size.
