Json for dummies guide

Does anyone know of a json walk through? I put an input data icon in the workflow, point to the file I want to import and change the file type to json then I'm stuck.

Thanks, I think I need something that goes step by step through each click and key stroke of the creating the workflow script.

I get and error message "the document root must not follow by other values, at character position 4"
