I have searched up the alteryx documentation but I couldn't find the answer there so I am posting here. Is the join tool supposed to stack the incoming data streams vertically or connect them horizontally?
The Join tool will align data next to each other if your key fields from each stream match. The Union tool will stack records from different streams on top of each other vertically.
