Join Not Working - Can't seem to solve

Wonder if anyone has any suggestions that might actually work? I'm trying to do a simple join between two datasets based upon employee_id. If I take the two files in excel, I can do the vlookup from one to the other with no issue. I'm tried clearing whitespace, ensured both were set at v_string.

Duhno, I can't seem to solve for why it's not working. Any suggestions?

Maybe try to match ATTUID to ATTUID without cleaning. Or in the cleaning step, deselect modify case. Join is case sensitive.
