Hi Team,

Joined two tables with inner join and trying to get Measure value. While selecting secondary table with grouping in place but getting NULL values in Measure column. Please assist.

Master table:

WW8, RV_VARIANCE

00000258, 23,000,000 M

Secondary table:

DD1_WW_CUST_ACCT_NBR, DD1_WW_CUST_ACCT_NM , WW_CUST_ACCT_NBR

00000258, General Motors Corporation, 0000025828

Expectation:

DD1_WW_CUST_ACCT_NBR, DD1_WW_CUST_ACCT_NM , WW_CUST_ACCT_NBR, RV_VARIANCE

00000258, General Motors Corporation, 0000025828, 23,000,000 M

Please assist.

Thank You,

Abdulrasheed.

Is your RV_VARIANCE a numeric field? I see commas and an M in there which looks like it may be a string field that has to be data cleansed first.

Hi,

No, its a Measure value with Double data type. Just to notify that its a number, i have mentioned its M - Million at the end.

Sorry for the confusion.

Please assist.

Thank You,

Abdulrasheed.

This issue resolved by using Find Replace tool instead of Join tool as the data granularity is causing data repentance.

Thank You Team.
