Has anyone had a join on one field - run there workflow and Nothing shows up in the Left, Join or Right ?

I mean anytime I have used a join and the connecting data (Key fields on the join) are the same format - At least some data falls in the left or right but I have never had a situation where no data flowed through the output side (L, J or R)

I unfortunately can not share the data. I apologize as I know this would help with the situation.
Some dummy data, with a similar structure that yields the same result will make it. Just a handful of records will be useful just to replicate the issue.
I'm just spit balling here, but have you tried a Find/Replace to see if maybe your lookup file contains only part of the number from your original dataset?
The two screenshots you provided point me in this direction, since one has a length of 10 and the other a length of 8.
Even if the data was lengths of 10 and Length of 8 on the other - Doesn't explain why there is nothing appearing on other side of the join?
All - A Support ticket was open with Alteryx to determine the issue here. The reason I couldn't share the data as it was coming from a client. I appreciate everyone chiming in. I will leave this open for now. When I hear back from support I will post the possible issue and resolution.

I am not sure if mine is the same issue but when I do a join, it removes the data.
this is my Select tool going in and the data is there:
When it comes out of the join tool and goes into the next tool it removes the field and changes the name.
Here is what the workflow looks like
Is this a different issue?
