Issue with Action Tool Default Value in Analytic App on Designer (v2022.1.1.42590)

Dear Alteryx Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with an Analytic App in Alteryx Designer (x64), version 2022.1.1.42590, running in non-elevated mode.

In my workflow, I have used an Action tool to update a Filter tool based on a user selection from an Interface tool. While everything works as expected when the app is published and run through Alteryx Gallery, the same configuration does not behave correctly when run locally in Designer.

Specifically:

* The selection from the Interface tool is not being applied to the Filter.
* Even though I have configured a Default Value for the Interface tool, the workflow does not pick up this default when run in Designer.

Could you please confirm if this is expected behavior in Designer or if there is a configuration step I am missing? Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

I think your issue is here:

Are you meaning to replace the entire string or just where it says Placeholder?

If just Placeholder, you can delete everything that is not Placeholder including the quotations.
