Issue Uninstalling Alteryx for Upgrade

Hi all,

 

I am experiencing an issue as I attempted to unsintall Alteryx Designer for upgrading purposes. I am attempting to download a raw installation file, but receive the following error from Windows: "Another version of this product is already installed...." etc (see attached). 

 

I have uninstalled via Control Panel and no remaining Alteryx application files remain on my local drive (or elsewhere). I still have the license manager though. And I have restarted my system 3+ times. 

 

Please let me know if there is a solution. Thank you!

I answered my own question! In case someone else runs into this issue... run cmd as admin and ... 

 

wmic > product get name (to check if there are remaining files) > call uninstall for all files incl. Alteryx
