Is there any way to make the hover click and drag for window resizing stickier?

You pretty much have to be spot on with this so the precision is set too high.

Ideally I should be able to hover anywhere near it and have the cursor change to the resize cursor.

This issue is pretty frustrating. I don't know any other application that would be so difficult to drag and resize. Obviously, whoever works on coding this application, do not use it for its intended purpose.
