Hello,
I am currently working with SAS DataFlux and trying to compare the functionality with Alteryx Designer, to see if a change to Alteryx would bring added value to our company. It looks quite promising, but there is one functionality that I could not find in Alteryx.
Can anybody tell if there is also something like the "Business Rule Manager" in Alteryx, which enables you to write rules once and deploy them to multiple flows without having to rewrite the rule logic in each deployment.
Thank you,
Sandra

Hi @SandraP
Yes, this would be possible. What type of rules are you writing in the Business Rule Manager currently?
Within Alteryx, if you have created the logic within one Tool, or multiple tools, you can simply copy these across into a different workflow. Similarly, you are able to create Macros (A group of tools packaged together, which would contain your logic) that you could then also insert into each of your multiple flows.
Kind Regards
Will

@SandraP Yes, there are a couple of ways you can go about this. You can create custom Alteryx macros (rules that you have created) and add it to the tool palette. The neat thing about this is you can share this with your colleagues and they wouldn't have to re-create the work.. talk about work transparency across the business.
You can also save expressions in the formula too to reuse later as well.
