Is the "Output Data" tool the only way I could possibly overwrite previous work?

I'm making changes to a previous year calculation for the present year.  I'm simply copying the old workflow and saving it as a new workflow and changing the inputs.  Provided there are no connected "Output Data" tools I should not worry about overwriting any outputs from last year.  Is my assumption correct?  My flow does not use any macros or loops.

That is correct for the most part. As long as there are no output tools of any kind (output data, render, cloud connectors, etc.), the workflow will not output and/or overwrite any data.

If you'd like to keep the outputs in the workflow but not run them while you are making changes, you can put all of the tools into a Tool Container and disable it.

Let me know if that helps!
