I have launched Alteryx Designer 2024.1.1.49 Patch 1 as Administrator on Windows 11. When I try to open SharePoint_py3.10_v2.6.3.yxi, I receive an error stating that the file is not a supported install type. I'm on a deadline to finish a workflow and I need to access files saved on SharePoint. Please help.

All of that information was in my original post.
I have one machine on 11 - and one machine on 10. Neither has an issues with .yxi files.
If you cannot open the .yxi as a zip file (in like 7zip) and/or youve downgraded alteryx to 2022.3 and you see the same issue - this is probably your system. what do you see in choose defaults by file type? do you in choose default file types (under default apps) when you type in .yxi?
what do you see in registry under like:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.yxi
you should see values like:
(Default) - value - AlteryxGui.yxifile
Content Type - value- application/yxi
these may be in a different place like:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.YXI on your system -> id make sure the values were in both and that the LOCAL_MACHINE value included lower case
I was able to figure out what the issue was/is. When I download the .yxi files from Marketplace, they are not downloading appropriately for some unknown reason. Windows is acting like the download is complete, but I'm not getting the full 88MB of file. I had a coworker download it and put it on a shared drive. Then, I was able to install it perfectly. I still don't know why this happened, but at least I have the add-on installed.
@EEnglish2 This same thing happened to me so I know exactly what you're talking about! Went on a different PC and it downloaded the file fully. Thanks for the post!
