Insert pic inside excel - BLOB?

Hi Alteryx,

Can you share me a sample of workflow on how to insert a picture in excel using Blob?

Here's my sample input and output:

Inputs: 2814575_0241409_0000000.jpg

            2213869_0241409_0000000.jpg

Outputs: 2814575_0241409_0000000 Support.xlsx

               2213869_0241409_0000000 Support.xlsx

Why would you like to do it using blob?

image manipulation is via reporting tools - all other processes must tie into reporting tools - and your final output must  be created via render.

I actually not sure if BLOB tool is the right tool for this.  Would you know? Appreciate if you can share me a sample workflow.  Thank you.

As @apathetichell mentioned, using the Reporting Menu. There is a tool named Image, it will import pictures from full path, or you can configure it in a different way. The minute that you are using Reporting tools you will need to use the Render as your output tool.

Could you help me configuring to the image tool? The initial output is to produce multiple reports per account in excel format.  I have used BLOB tool to produce these multiple outputs per account. After that, I would need to insert an image/screenshots in some of these outputs using the Image tool as you mentioned. However, I would need to preserve the formatting and other details in the excel and this image or picture to be inserted in each of the excel output should be pasted in a specific range (in cell D13 only).  Please see attached sample output and image.  Assuming I have more than hundreds of excel output and I have a folder where the images/screenshots are saved.  The filename of image and excel output are the same except that in the output there is a word "Support" in the filename.
