Insert a Decimal

Hello.  I have a V_String field with a value of "5000".  This represents a dollar value of "$50.00".  How can I insert a "." into the "5000" value?

@Jmacnevin first, recast the number by dividing it by 100 to get the dollar value, then use a select tool to switch the value to a fixed decimal and set the size to 19.2. Make sure to hit the button I have circled in the output pane.

@Jmacnevin If it has to remain a v_string, you can concat a ".00" to the value in a formula tool after you recast to get your dollar value.
