Hello Great people:

I want to create a workflow, where every month the file will be picked automatically? How can I do that.

For instance File name: (Sales_report _Month changes every month)  Sales report _ November

next month it would be Sales Report _December

Appreciate your help.

Hi @Kinetic_analytics

You can use the directory tool + filter tool + dynamic input tool to do this.

1)Point the directory tool to the directory where the files are located

2)Use the filter tool to filter the file with the month that you need to filter

3)Use the dynamic tool to import this file to the workflow

One way is to use the directory tool and a filter. The directory tool scans a folder or folders then you can use a filter to seach for a file with "Sales report" followed by what every the current month is:

Ones the file is found just pass its location to a dynamic input tool:
