Incomplete number is being picked up after using select tool in the workflow

Hi,

While developing my workflow, I have noted that after using select tool, and changing the data type to double, the complete number isn't being picked up for that entire column. This is the first time I have seen such a case. For eg. before using select tool, the number is 497,888,978 and once the select tool is used and the data type for that column is  changed to double only 49 is being shown as an output. This is the same case for all numbers in that column. Please advise if this can be fixed. Thank you.

Hi @B_bhatta you would need to remove the commas in your data before you changed the data type to a double in the select tool. A formula tool with a replace function or a data cleanse tool could remove the commas before the select tool.
