If row has values, then jump down one row and calculate values there

Hi Community!

I have values to add each week into one row across a number of columns. If the row already has values in it, I want Alteryx to go to the row below and retrieve values from another sheet and populate that row.

Any ideas how I can do this?

Many thanks!

Hi @Savannah

Interesting scenario can you provide us more detailed info, some files and expected output.

We can help you out best once we have them 🙂

This week, I would like Alteryx to populate row 7 with numbers from a different sheet.

Next week I would like Alteryx to jump down to row 8 and populate that row.

Any suggestions would be welcome! 🙂

Hi @Savannah,

I would just use a union tool and add this data into the next available row.

I think this would work for you.

I'm not sure what you mean, I'm new to Alteryx 🙂 , but I will have a look. Thanks!

You can read input data sheet and history data sheet and union them.

After that overwrite history data sheet.

The image is below.

Please refer attached workflow.
