How to track usage of Alteryx Macro / Tool?

Hi All,

I have developed an Alteryx based macro for my team. Now, I will be sharing this macro with them through email. They all will run this macro on their laptop.

Is there any way to track / count the usage of this macro?

I would need that for my reporting purposes.

Could you please share some insights?

The closest/easiest solution I can think of is using the directory tool and seeing when the file was last open, and possibly reporting on that? but that's not what you initailly asked so not sure how helpful that would be?
