How to set connections to be angular instead of curvy?

I see some workflows have angular connections instead of the pre-set curvy ones... can anyone show me how this can be changed?

in v10 navigate to Options -> User Settings -> Edit User settings - you'll find the setting here on the canvas tab (play with the options to get the best look for you):

On v9 they'll be in a similar location but the menu structire is different.
