How to run workflow at specific time and dates with a preconfigured option and also automatic mail to be triggered to the inbox for certain mail ids.

Hi @Ram_RK 

The only way to schedule a workflow is to use Alteryx Server.  Once there you can create one or more schedules.

To send emails for specific IDs, use a filter tool to get the IDs and send the results to an Email tool

I wanted to run the workflow without Alteryx Server and schedule the workflow is it possible? Why would it require a server to schedule the workflow.

This is a limitation of DESIGNER DESKTOP. It is not a limitation of Server or CLOUD DESIGNER (or Trifacta by Alteryx Cloud Designer or whatever they are calling it). Why? because Alteryx wants you to buy Server. That's why.
