How to run a Microsoft SQL Server query in Read Only mode in Alteryx

Hello team,

I hope you're all doing well.

I configured the connection to a database in Microsoft SQL Server in Alteryx and I tried running a query. I was warned to run it in Read Only mode because it blocks the database.

When I connect to MSS, I select Read Only mode; how do I do this in Alteryx?

Thank you!

Kind regards,

Ioana

@alexnajm

Hello,

Thank you so much for your prompt help.

I tried following the steps in the KB you sent me but unfortunately I don't have admin rights on my computer and so it does not give me access to the config settings showed in the KB.

any other thoughts?

Kind regards,

Ioana

No other thoughts on my end - anything related to ODBC configurations will be an ODBC issue, not an Alteryx issue!
