How to resolve the input issue for .xls files

Hello All.

 

I have few files which are in ".xls" format and I am trying to use input tool for it, but I keep getting this error.

 

Additionally, I have downloaded Microsoft 32 bit 2010 driver after searching for solution online, But as soon as I install that it says "There are no products affected by this package installed on this system".

 

Is there any other way i can resolve this issue?

You best chance is to get the xls to xlsx format. Alteryx is not fully supporting xls.

You might add it as an idea to get Alteryx to fully support xls although only wondering why companies are keep using so only xls format that are not supported anymore by MS itself.
