How to remove dynamic file path in output file

Hi Team ,

How can I stop including the file path in the output file when using dynamic file name.

Unchecked the option "Keep field in output" but still visible in the data.

Hi @Sashankbongu,

You got two columns file name and file name 2. I think you will not be able to remove the second one using the tool.

If you are using called file_name to get an output location maybe you can use the select tool before the output file to remove file_name_2 from the file.

The 2 file names are as I have to out put files/formats . 

I use File_Name for .csv and File_Name_2 for .yxdb. 

There is no problem with dynamic files names but the file path appears in the data as in the excel screenshot . I do not need this.

Hi @Sashankbongu,

I have created a perfect picture to show you what you need to do 🙂

I am joking it is a mess... 🙂 In short you need to have 2 select tools one for each of the files. 

In each of them you need to keep only the path for one of the files and then it will start working!
