How to open .bak file in alteryx?

Hi all,

 

Please tell me how to open .bak file in alteryx. I want to recover the data that is there in the .bak file.

Hi @stj1120 

 

One way to do this is to click with the right button on the .bak file -> open with -> and select the right program to open the file (Excel for excel files/Alteryx for workflows, etc.)

Hi @stj1120 

 

Just change the file extension from .bak to .yxmd and it would work.
