How to create a column starting from data in a column with separation

elfunambolo

Hello,

The column's fields are composed of person's name after the first semi-column (see attached file, column A). I can have more than one person's names always separated by semi-column each one.

I want to create the "Owner's" column as column B,C,D filled by person's name present in column A.

Can you support me on it?

Thanks

Giovanni

The Text to Columns tool will do what you need. Set the separator as ; and it will break up the CURRENT STEP into columns

You can then use a Select to lose the first column
