How to correctly cope with milliseconds / microseconds in timeseries data?

RobertZaharia

Dear all,

Currently I'm working with timeseries data in the form of: mm/dd/yyyy HH:MM:SS.[microseconds] [AM]. I can simply ignore the milliseconds, but that would mean that I obtain duplicate rows (with the exact same time stamp), which is not desirable.

Is there anybody that can help me at least with some advise in how to cope with this problem in Alteryx, as that currently in the "DateTime" block there is no support for milliseconds.

Thank you all in advance!

Hi Robert,

please find my solution attached.

MS are removed and you can use the RecordID column to cope with the duplicates.

Best regards

Phil
