Hello Alteryx designers,
My aim is to filter my rows that match with datetimetoday() function in dd-Mon format.
My dataset has variable 'Date' in the dd-Mon format (example: 01-Dec). Alteryx identifies it as a string. I tried two ways:
1. Converted using the Date Conversion tool, but the output date looks like 01-Dec-1400; the year 1400 gets attached to every date. If I could remove the year or add 2019 to every date, that would work.
2. Filter function tool that compares Date with datetimeparse for datetimetoday in dd-Mon format, but it shows 0 records.
It would be great if either of the ways was fixed.
Thanks

Solved! Go to Solution.
You can use the formula tool to parse the DateTimeToday into the format you need
DateTimeFormat(DateTimeToday(), "%d-%h")
