Hello All,
I am trying to connect Alteryx to a BigQuery table. How do I do that?
I have installed Simba drivers and have the required credentials for BigQuery as well.
Can someone please help me on this?
Thanks,
Amit Belagali

What's the exact issue that you are having?
Part time Tableau, Part Time Alteryx. Full Time Awesome
Hi @LordNeilLord,
I have used Alteryx to connect to GA, Adobe, Twitter and FB. I have never connected it to BigQuery. Seems like I need to use Download tool. Not sure of the exact steps. Could you please let me know the steps (in detail if possible)?
Thanks,
Amit Belagali
Hey @AmitBelagali,
It's been a while since I did it but as far as I remember the steps were:
Create an ODBC connection using the Simba Drivers....entering your project and credentials....then you can use this as a standard input tool.
If you're having trouble I'll see if I can find some more info for you.

Alternatively, you can use the ODBC Driver for BigQuery by CData Software (my employer). The driver is built using the same ODBC standard. You can see a step-by-step walkthrough here: https://www.cdata.com/kb/tech/bigquery-odbc-alteryx.rst
