How to add "Interface tool" to Existing workflow

Hello All,

Is that possible to add interface tool for example "Checkbox" to all existing workflow which has GUI [ there are about more than 50 workflow] through updating Xml using python.

what I have been trying to do I have 50 workflow in which I wanted to add check box as  "Control Check" and all control check should be "Checked" before running the workflow.

and creating "Checkbox" on the basis of config file and then it need to linked with "Error  Message" tool. so that any unchecked check should get recall before running it.

any suggestion/sample workflow/link would be appreciated thanks.
