How to Move an existing Alteryx key to a new PC

Hello everyone!

How to move an existing Alteryx key to a new pc?

I was using window 11 and downgraded to window 10, I had to reinstall the Alteryx and set up the key.

when i entered the key, it says the key is already been used in a different machine and therefore you can move the license key to your new machine. When i click on the Move your license button it does not do anything.

Note: I did not deactivate my license key before switching to window 10 therefore, i do not have access to that machine.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

@ferhanali93 this is normally done by first deactivating the license on the old device. As you don’t have access to this, you’ll have to get your license admin to revoke the license to free it up for use on your new machine.
