How to Get the Excel files in a Folder

Hello everyone,

i'm Totally new to Alteryx so i'm sorry if my question is entery level.

i want to make an App that

1)gets different excel files with different rows and coloumns 

2)Files are in the same Directory or Folder

Having office on the gallery server should be enough. Haven't really tried the macro on the gallery but that may be the only issue.

The macros also use the command tool. Are there any restrictions applied on the gallery regarding the use of those tools?

If there are restrictions on the use of those tools there you won't be able to use the macro then on the gallery since it does run using them.

The app actually works perfectly ofline but online (In gallery) this Error Pops up

Invalid Directory:H:\blahblah\Data\*.*: The system cannot find the path specified

By uploading  to gallery i can't see my input Data(Sample Data) to upload with my App 

We have a folder that all the excel files are in it.

Try using instead of your pc an third machine, a server to which both, you computer and the gallery have access to.
