How the Input Tool auto-detects” the delimiters

Hi There,

Can anyone provide insight on the Input tool as to how the “auto-detects” the delimiters? (Looks at the first X rows…)

It doesn't auto detect them.  If you drop a CSV on the canvas, it will assume the delimiter is a comma. If you drop  TXT file on the canvas, it will ask you how to format it.  Do you have an example of what you're encountering?
