How do you download and store GPS or Atlas data for use in Alteryx?

Question

I was training looking at the "Find nearest Tool Mastery.yxmd" and there is a concept of being able to store and utilize gps/atlas data into a db or some other manner for use. I am assuming this is some sort of db connected object.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

People working with spatial data commonly use ESRI Personal GeoDatabase files (.mdb), or ESRI Shapefiles (.shp). We also support Google Earth (.kml) and GIS (.grc as well as .grd). More information on these file types can be found at https://www.alteryx.com/data-sources
