How do I get past the Microsoft Access Database Engine error

I'm trying to pull a list of xls files from a folder path and even installed Access Database Engine 2010.

However, I'm running into the below error and not sure how to get past this? Please find the attached screenshot for reference

@geeklarokcmie
you will be required to create a batch macro to read this file from a directory

refer this macro attached
created for .xlsx
you can update it for your format, and this will work.

Appreciate your response, Raj.

Using your workflow - I can certainly read a single xls file.

What about when I want to read all the files from that folder path?

@geeklarokcmie
if that works for single file
then that will work for directory as well.

I run into the same error again (screenshot attached)

@Raj and community,

The workflow runs and spits out the same error - however it is only reading one file from 06-06-2024 instead of the all the files specified in the filter.

Trying to understand what exactly am I doing incorrectly?

@geeklarokcmie
i am adding a workflow for reference
you can use the second macro to pull the data from the path

Thank you, Raj. It still spits out the same error and only reads data from a single file.
